ACCOUNTING CLERK

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing accounting support for various month end and general ledger functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable processing
- Bank reconciliations
- Provide general ledger support, including account reconciliations, general ledger analysis and investigation of any discrepancies or reconciling items
- Assist with the processing of commission payments
- Assist with preparation of year end working papers
Qualifications:
- First or Second year CGA/CMA student, or equivalent experience
- Accuracy, attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to maintain confidentiality in respect of information handled
- Previous experience in full cycle accounting
- Must have experience working in Windows environment using Microsoft Office software and possesses intermediate Excel skills

TERRITORY MANAGER

We're proud to be one of Manitoba's Top 25 Employers for 2011 and are currently looking for a Territory Manager.
The Territory Manager plans, directs and coordinates the marketing of Petsecure products and services particularly within the assigned region by acting as liaison between Petsecure and veterinary practices, shelters, and other various sorts of contacts; establish marketing goals and strategies to ensure growth and market share of existing small animal veterinary practices and cultivation of new markets within the territory; consult with veterinary practices to create unique programs that will benefit the practice, the pet-owner, and Petsecure; evaluate market response to promotions to ensure strategies are successful; monitor the effects of competitor activity within the specified region; aid in the increase of awareness of Petsecure by training, educating and servicing the professional health care team and general pet owning population through practice seminars, attendance at trade shows and conducting market research projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience as an animal health technologist (AHT) or similar designation an asset
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Fundamental knowledge of veterinary medical terminology
- General veterinary practice knowledge
- Ability to work well independently and under pressure
- Proficient computer aptitude in a windows environment preferably in Microsoft Office and in use of a laptop computer
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once

We are one of "Manitoba's Top 25 Employers for 2011", and as a result of our continuous growth, we are currently accepting applications for our Insurance Representatives for both sales and service positions. If you already hold a valid General Insurance License or CAIB 1, 2, 3, or 4, we want you! We are also looking for individuals who are willing to obtain their license within our paid training program.
Upon holding a valid license, or successful completion of our paid licensing program, representatives will receive:
- A starting annual salary between $25,000 - $35,000 depending on license held and past experience, specific to insurance.
- Monthly commission paid on all sales
- Full time employees work a 35 hour work week (shifts & rotational Saturdays)
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in French and English an asset
- Post secondary education an asset
- Experience using Windows and Microsoft Office
- Must be willing to obtain General Insurance License (company paid) or provide a copy of existing license
